Karen's first love is the design and construction of original quilted wallhangings, from wildlife to old forgotten buildings. After the design she selects the perfect fabric and thread paints to make the quilt come alive. Each work of art is one of a kind and made with 100% cotton fabric, cotton and rayon thread, using applique methods, fabric painting and free-motion embroidery. Sizes ranging from 8" x 10" and larger are available.
Victorian and heritage homes, landscapes, fantasy and memory quilts are our specialty. All pictures are available framed or as quilted wallhangings.
Lap quilts are available for that special occasion, i.e., to commemorate weddings, anniversaries, the birth of children, graduation, etc. Using photos you provide and with personal consultation, fabric copies are created and sewn into a unique and personal heirloom to showcase your special event.
